We can't let sex offenders "overpay".... !?!?!

Take a good look at this guy. He's a sick man with a bad problem. He molests children. He has for three decades. He was in what is perhaps the most sex-offender-friendly courtroom in America. He was asked by Judge Brent Moss what his own penalty should be. His response? "I need to pay for my crimes but I don't need to overpay."

Overpay? Did he say overpay?!

Oh, I get it. He was ok with ruining a whole bunch of kids lives, but he doesn't want his own life to be too inconvenienced by it.

Lucky for him, and too bad for his potential future victims, he's in Judge Brent Moss' courtroom and was given a six month rider. Hopefully reason prevails in six months and he's off to prison.

Mr. Tim Ricks, I am sorry that you have the problem that you do. You probably feel like you can't control it at times, and maybe you can't. Perhaps you need more help than anyone can give you. But, you could spend the rest of your life behind bars in a dark rat and roach infested prison cell eating small portions of moldy bread and pond water and you couldn't "overpay" for your crime. You don't have the power to "overpay". So don't you worry about that.
