America Speaks

It's interesting how much louder and clearer Americans' voices are heard a few short weeks before a big national election.

The media calls this a "failure" by Congress to pass the bailout.

I call it the success of the American people to tell the government to stop thinking they are there to cure every problem. We ought not think the monster that helped create this problem has the capacity to solve it.

We might face some pretty tough times, but America always recovers from tough times. I believe that we'll be ok.
