Jim Risch is skipping the IPTV debate. A couple of points here. He's way ahead in the polls, and has nothing to gain by debating, especially when he'll face a number of opponents, all of whom have placed a target on him. It would likely be too many allegations to respond to. So from a strategic standpoint, I understand, The second point, is that I'm a little disappointed. He should participate in every major debate opportunity, in my opinion. Sure, his poll numbers could take a dip, but he's likely going to be our US Senator and we should have more than one chance to vet him against the other candidates.

Wait a minute...I thought you were critical of the MSM? These debates are staged by and for the MSM. Just look at how worthless the debates have been this presidential cycle. You really think Mitt Romney was well served by sharing a stage with Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul...and Alan Keyes?
Candidates need to take the debates back from the liberal media. It doesn't serve anyone's best interest for Jim to stand up there and take questions from biased liberals who already know they story they are going to print? Remember the "raise your hand if you believe in global warming question?" I think Jim is doing us a favor by calling attention to the fact that these debates are useless.
Get him on your show.
