SPP Discussion set for Thursday

I'm finalizing my thoughts on the Security and Prosperity Partnership, which has been the subject of many a conspiracy theory and the source of much angst for some. If you'd like to see how it originated, this is a good start. There are plenty of conspiracy sites out there as well here, here, and here. And that's just a random sample.

Neal - I'm sure that you realize that you are linking to the CFR website. CFR = Council on Foreign Relations. In a general conference talk, President Benson (of the LDS church) recommended that every member of the church read a book titled "None Dare Call it Conspiracy." Have you taken the opportunity to read this book?

Benson gives his personal endorsement on the books' back cover:

"I wish that every citizen of every country in the free world and every slave behind the Iron Curtain might read this book. (Gary Allen and Larry Abraham, None Dare Call It Conspiracy [Seal Beach, California: Concord Press, 1971], back cover.)

None Dare Ca11 It Conspiracy discusses how the Insiders of a world-wide conspiracy are increasing their evil influence and control over America and the entire world through a "New World Order."

Upon reading the book you would find the following quote:

"The Insiders" code word for the world superstate is "new world order," a phrase often used by Richard Nixon. The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) states in its Study No. 7.- "The U.S. must strive to: "A. BUILD A NEW INTERNATIONAL ORDER." (Capitals in the original.) "

I don't see how you can retaliate against conspiracy by quoting the "enemy" themselves.

I am sincerely attempting to make as logical an argument as I possibly can. Benson warned against the CFR; are you telling me that I should believe what they write on their website?

Neal -

Also, PLEASE, realize, I am a "recent convert" to conspiracy theory, and would love nothing more than to help me prove it wrong because I'm using a TON of my time reading about it.
