It was picked up nationally by the Associated Press. Rexburg Mayor Shawn Larsen has come out and apologized for the "Assassinate Obama!" school bus chant.
Since Mayor Larsen is apologizing for something he didn't do, or had any control over whatsoever, I think I'll follow suit today and apologize for a whole bunch of stuff I had nothing to do with as well. So, if you're in an apologetic mood today, and you'd like to apologize for a minor-turned-international incident, you're free to call in too.

Mayor Larsen is good at apologizing. He also apologized to all those that had been hit by cars in Rexburg.
This is a story that just keeps on giving...
Looking for a cheap 5 minutes of fame (no, not worth 15) Mayor (name something;anything after me) Larson stuck his foot in his mouth. We should all be proud of having a true, blue, politically correct mayor. Long may he live in his self-righteous denial of reality. Next time someone falls below the yellow line of stupidity, just give Mayor Larson a call. He will gladly offer a half-assed apology and make the situation worse.
