On a Wednesday Neal Larson Show we are going to explore the many hidden corridors of gratitude. There are some that may believe that gratitude is simply seeing that glass of water as half full.
It is my belief that gratitude is so much more than that. It is appreciating the beautiful glass, the nice cool water, and the hand that pulls it to your mouth.
Gratitude far exceeds the concept of a "positive mental attitude". It has tremendous power to change your level of happiness.
As we approach Thanksgiving, Wednesday's show will be more than "I'm grateful for _______"
We'll reflect on Victor Frankl's experience in a Nazi concentration camp. We'll talk about the marvelous mental limitation of being able to hold only one thought at a time, and how gratitude brings the person who posesses it completely into the present -- the only place where true happiness can exist.
It will be more than a feel-good holiday edition of the Neal Larson Show. I hope you'll join me.
