Like many others, I caught a good portion of the opening ceremonies for the Olympics, and I thought they were fantastic. The Chinese went to great lengths to make it memorable and I think they succeeded. The drums and the type-set displays were particularly impressive.
On a political note, and in the wake of President Bush's public condemnation of China's human rights abuses, I have a question for you. Do you think that during an event like the Olympics, should geopolitical differences be set aside, or should we use the games as a platform to push for positive change? That might make a good FlashPoll.
