Hallowhat?

So I pick my kid up from school yesterday, and he was dressed as usual for school. I asked him if he had a Halloween party.

"Yep."

Why didn't you wear a costume?

"We're not allowed."

Well you at least got candy, right?

"No!"

I think public education tries to micromanage WAY too much. Every kid should have a costume-and-candy Halloween party. Sad. Just sad.
