Here's how I think this is going to go: Senator Craig's attorney files papers to reverse guilty plea. The judge says, "Not only no, but HEAVEN's no!". Senator Craig resigns later this week, allowing governor Otter to promptly name a replacement, which will be Jim Risch. Just my little crystal ball...
