Check this story about Mammoth bones.

Real neat story. Like it. But do we have to tie EVERYTHING we do now into climate change? It mentions that in Wyoming the temperature was ten to twenty degrees colder 12 thousand years ago.
Now, that begs the question. If we've warmed up a degree and a half since the beginning of the industrial age, then it warmed up 8.5 to 18.5 degrees before the industrial age began.
How?
I don't care what the answer is. I just care that we're asking, and right now, nobody is. They're too busy running around like chicken licken.

So let me get this correct. Scientists can tell temperature by a Mammoths tooth and tusk? Now don't get me wrong science is amazing. But how might one ever tell what the temperature was just by a tooth?
As to that wasn't the Mammoth around mainly during an Ice Age. So the earth perhaps warmed up a great deal?. With Volcano activity and sun flares, possible increase during the mid-evil days when they burned half the population due to the plague im sure that increased the temp's by a huge degree. Again, Gore is a putz.
