Ok, so I stand a little corrected here on the Postal worker salary issue. For the record, here's the latest pay scale, from August 2006.

However, I wasn't THAT far off. A postal worker who's been at it for close to 15 years and works five hours of overtime each week would get paid right around $60K per year. Not that bad for what one caller called "unskilled labor".
